Students will learn about the history of the Gig Harbor Fishing Fleet as well as the process of translating a photo into an illustration. Using pen and ink, students will draw a scene featuring the "Heritage" fishing vessel, which is part of Gig Harbor's rich fishing background. Basic instruction of line drawing and pen and ink techniques will be introduced.
